Issued Zones:  Entire Forecast Area

Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Medium Range Advisory effective now for the end of the week …

Date:  12/6/15 at 5:20pm PT

Forecast: The surface high remains intact but is weakening a bit.  Toward Thursday into Friday we get a system into California again.  This storm system looks similar to the past systems where it hits further up north with a tail-end charlie into Southern California.   This advisory, being members only, has the embedded image with it.  The green is considered light/moderate rainfall and the gray is light with anything near black being barely a drop.

You can see Thursday/Friday that this image is similar to what we’ve been seeing.  We’ve been seeing Kern/SLO/SBA County getting the most rainfall, as well as the IE/SD forecast areas and neighboring mountain zones.  The least rainfall was in most of the VT/OC/LA and Desert areas.

This looks the same for this advisory … we’ll update the members if things change.

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.
