Forecast: Upper divergence ahead of an upper level low is setting up a mid-level dryline across Baja, Central Imperial, and Eastern Riverside County.
This line is extending into the SCWF Severe Thunderstorm Watch zone over Needles as well … however before the storms hit that watch area they will form over this watch area.
Expect a round of lightning, heavy rain, and even hail … It could be on top or just east of Brawley … regardless .. it’s within the 10 mile distance required for your area to receive an alert.
