Southern California Weather Force.com is a weather forecast website that is attempting to grow into the largest forecast service in Southern California.  Over 10 counties are served within the service and those include the following;  Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Imperial.

Welcome:  I welcome you to this project and hope you enjoy it, especially during inclement weather events.  During storm situations this is the project you will enjoy the most.  You will always know what to expect and when the worst will hit and when it will leave.  You can ask questions on the site and/or social media pages.  I answer a lot!

Why It Exists:  Government funds are lacking in the weather sector so SCWF‘s plan is to use 20 years experience in forecasting the weather in Southern California in order to up the potential of issuing weather alerts to the public whom want them and to lessen damage to life and property.

Alerts Issued:  SCWF specializes in micro-climate forecasting.  While some alerts are a 15 mile radius (meaning from you to 15 miles will see that type of event), all are helpful.  Wide variety of alerts issued from Santa Ana Winds, Snow, Flood, Tornado, Thunderstorm, Marine, Heat, Cold, Wind, and much more …

Standard Forecasts:  I won’t tell you 70 degrees and sunny.  This is an alert system so that is the meat and bones of the project.  You can ask though!

SCWFweather Email Service: This is a month, 3,6, or yearly service.   For around the cost of one large beer at a restaurant per month you can have the micro-climate alerts and articles delivered straight to you without having to wait or look on Facebook for them.  This works well if anyone needs to know what the weather will do for their travels, home, office, or business outside.  It can be found in the list by clicking here

Why Pay For A Subscription When Apps Exists?  SCWF is a custom service and has the expertise in the micro-climates.  Apps can tell you temp/conditions sometimes but only SCWF can go into the details with the micro-climate alerts.  No other weather app comes close to SCWF.  You will never be caught off-guard of a weather event again if using the system.
