Issued Zones:  Imperial County … Mexicali … Eastern Riverside and San Bernardino Deserts …

Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night …

Date:  11/18/19 at 2:30pm PT

Forecast: This is your follow-up to the previous article (Click Here).  Before I go into this, at the moment I am unable to post or assign admins or anything on my pages.  I was attacked by a snowflake who I will find and deal with myself but as a SCWF member you get these no matter what.  That is why it pays to be a member because you CANNOT rely on Facebook.  Facebook is NOT what you rely on for SCWF Articles or Alerts.  Remaining members makes you continue getting these even without Facebook.  So … remember that.  I also had a terrible sickness I’m just getting over so updates are coming slower than usual here.

A cold-core low will be diving into the region on Tuesday morning.  The instability parameters along with deep-tropical moisture out of the south will work with this system to produce thunderstorms in this region.  Parameters are suggesting the risk of severe thunderstorms capable of large hail, flooding, damaging winds and even the chance of an isolated tornado in or around the watch zone.  This is for Tuesday afternoon.. peaking mainly evening into the night hours.  Storm motion will be from south to north.
