Winter Weather Advisory

88Shares

Issued Zones:  Los Angeles and San Bernardino Mountains …

Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Winter Weather Advisory effective now for Monday into some of Monday night …

Date:  3/15/20 at 8:00pm PT

Forecast: A oold-front will sweep the region on Monday evening and night.  This front will affect the Wrightwood zones more than the Big Bear Lake areas and the reason for that is because it will weaken as it moves eastward.  The moisture column is rather thin so not much will reach Big Bear Lake.

I would be surprised to see even an inch in and east of town.  The Rim is in the 2-6″ portion, but most likely a 2-4″ show … and Wrightwood’s zone around 4-6″, depending on location and if a rain-shadow exists to your southwest.  Given this, the Cajon Pass will NOT see snowfall with this storm … You however are in my flood advisory area and the alert is view-able by Clicking Here
